As a gay man living in London and working as a nutritionist, I know that the LGBTQ+ community has specific dietary and health needs. Yet while there is huge demand for this kind of information in his private practice, there is very little reliable public information out there for the community to access. My book, Naked Nutrition, seeks to change that. It is the first LGBTQ+ health-focused guide to diet and lifestyle, taking an honest, inclusive and non-judgemental approach to the questions I am asked most frequently. It covers a wide range of subjects, giving detailed, practical advice on LGBTQ+ health matters including:

  • Weight loss and muscle gain

  • HIV nutrition

  • Sex

  • Transgender Nutrition

  • Addiction & the party lifestyle

  • Mental health support for LGBTQ+ individuals

  • Same sex fertility nutrition

There is not a resource out there like this and a specifically tailored book focusing on the LGBTQ+ community has been sadly lacking until now. People can be afraid to ask questions about the health topics of LGBTQ+ health or sensitive issues and people simply don’t know that they can improve their health with nutrition for a specific area.
